Hoops of Hope: Rosherville Brings Heart and Hustle to Trust Basketball
What an incredible evening of basketball at the Aletheia Trust Tournament! Although Rosherville finished in 7th place, we couldn’t be prouder of the determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship our team showed throughout the event. Every player gave their all, and we left the court knowing we have grown both as individuals and as a team.

The teams that participated were:
- St. Botolph’s – 1st Place
- Holy Trinity – 2nd Place
- Halling – 3rd Place
- Saint George’s – 4th Place
- Cliffe Woods – 5th Place
- Stone – 6th Place
- Rosherville – 7th Place
- Shorne – 8th Place
- Sutton – 9th Place
- All Stars – 10th Place
We may not have reached the top spots, but the journey was worth every second. Rosherville played with passion and grit, demonstrating true teamwork in every game. Every pass, every rebound, and every shot was a result of the effort and determination we put in from the start. While we didn’t come out on top, the lessons we learned and the memories we created will stay with us long after the tournament.
A massive congratulations to St. Botolph’s for taking 1st place, Holy Trinity for securing 2nd, and Halling for finishing in 3rd. Their skill and sportsmanship were truly inspiring, and we’re proud to have competed alongside such talented teams. The level of competition was high, and each team demonstrated the values that make these tournaments so special.
Looking ahead, we’re already excited for the next event in the Aletheia Trust Games — Trust Rugby! We’ll carry forward the lessons we learned in basketball, especially resilience and teamwork, into the rugby competition. We can’t wait to take on the next challenge with the same heart and hustle that we brought to the basketball court. Congratulations to all the teams, and here is to many more exciting events in the Aletheia Trust Games!
