Year 6 were lucky enough to participate in an Outdoor Art Studio Project at Horton Kirby Church of England Primary School, where the children made some birds from wood and ‘painted’ them using soil, flowers, leaves and grass.
One of the pupils commented, “I couldn’t believe my bird actually looked like a bird when I made it. It was brilliant!” Another said, “We actually painted using nature – it was amazing, and it worked”.
